Veranda has published a curated shopping guide featuring 27 luxury Christmas decorations, ranging from hand-crafted European ornaments to heirloom-quality stockings and live Maine balsam wreaths. The roundup emphasizes artisan craftsmanship and pieces designed to last beyond a single season.
Veranda has published a curated guide of 27 luxury Christmas decorations, assembling hand-crafted ornaments, heirloom-quality stockings, lighting and table linens aimed at readers planning high-end holiday decorating. The roundup, written by the magazine’s lifestyle and digital editors, highlights artisan-made pieces from Poland and Germany alongside limited-edition designer collaborations and fresh-cut greenery shipped from Maine.
The guide’s standout hand-crafted items include clip-on candle ornaments produced by a family-run business in Poland. According to Veranda, each ornament is blown, dipped in silver, painted and hand-glittered, which the publication describes as making them “one of the most meticulously crafted holiday decorations you can find today.” Another European import featured is a set of circa-1950s candle holders, handmade and hand-painted in Erzgebirge, Germany — a region Veranda notes is known for intricate carving of nutcrackers and angels, with figures including a Santa, an angel and a skier girl.
Textiles and tableware feature heavily in the list. A block-printed tablecloth is part of what Veranda describes as a limited-edition collaboration between Sharland England and Sister Parish, reworking Sister Parish’s iconic Georgina print in a deep green scalloped-edge design. The publication also spotlights hand-knit Christmas stockings in motifs from Santa and reindeer to angels and gingerbread men, which it suggests could become family heirlooms, plus needlepoint stockings that can be embroidered with family members’ names.
Lighting and greenery round out the selection. Featured pieces include an Advent calendar of hand-painted, laser-cut wood depicting a mountain village with 24 mini drawers and 22 LED lights on an automatic timer; a cordless wreath available in three sizes (24, 30 and 48 inches) for indoor or outdoor use; and a 30-inch live balsam wreath sustainably sourced from Maine forests, decorated with real pine cones, faux crabapples and holly berries, with shipping options timed to keep it fresh through Christmas. Several items in the guide were listed at discounts at publication, including 30% off a reindeer candy bowl and 38% off brushed flannel winter sheets.
Why Luxury Holiday Decor Is Trending
The guide reflects a broader shift in holiday spending toward fewer, higher-quality pieces rather than disposable seasonal decor. Many items Veranda selected are positioned as multi-season or heirloom purchases — the hand-knit stockings, German folk crafts and stoneware houses are all framed as pieces intended to last for years, and several, such as the pine-and-deer flannel sheets and flameless candles, are described as usable through the whole winter.
For readers, the list functions as a practical shopping shortlist during the peak decorating weeks, when sought-after artisan pieces and fresh greenery can sell out early. The inclusion of timed shipping options for the live wreath and name embroidery on stockings also flags customization steps that require ordering ahead of the holidays.
The Artisans Behind the Pieces
The roundup leans on long-standing European craft traditions. The Erzgebirge region of Germany, source of the featured vintage-style candle holders, has been a center of wooden folk-art carving since the 19th century, producing the nutcrackers and smoker figures associated with traditional German Christmas markets. The Polish glass-ornament industry similarly dates back generations of family workshops specializing in hand-blown and hand-painted holiday glassware.
The guide was produced by Veranda’s editorial team, including Arricca Elin SanSone, a lifestyle and gardening writer who has contributed to Country Living, House Beautiful and Good Housekeeping, and Jaime Milan, Veranda’s deputy digital editor. Veranda describes the list as an edit of decorations that combine style with craftsmanship for the holiday season.
“Each one is blown, dipped in silver, painted with vivid colors, and hand-glittered by a family-run business in Poland, making them one of the most meticulously crafted holiday decorations you can find today.”

Pricing, Stock and Availability Gaps
The source guide does not list prices for most items, so the actual cost of assembling the full 27-piece collection cannot be determined from the article. Availability is also uncertain: the roundup notes discounts on only two items (30% and 38% off), and it is not clear whether those reductions or the underlying stock will hold through the season. The limited-edition Sharland England x Sister Parish tablecloth may sell out by nature of its limited run. Veranda does not specify publication dates for each product entry, and some items may already be unavailable.
Ordering Windows Before the Holidays
Readers interested in customized or fresh items should act early: embroidered stockings and the limited-edition tablecloth require lead time, and the Maine balsam wreath’s freshness depends on choosing a late-November ship date. Veranda and competing lifestyle titles typically refresh and expand holiday shopping guides through November and December, so additional curated lists and updated discount information are likely to follow as the season progresses.
Key Questions
What is Veranda’s list of 27 luxury Christmas decorations?
It is a curated shopping guide published by Veranda collecting upscale holiday decorations, including hand-blown Polish glass ornaments, German folk-art candle holders, heirloom-style stockings, LED Advent calendars, table linens and a live balsam wreath.
